The Idaho Club Golf Course is a semi-private 18 hole golf course located in Sandpoint, Idaho.
The Idaho Club Golf Course -- formerly Hidden Lakes Golf Course first opened for play in 1986. The designer was Jim Krause. The course was redone and reopened in 2008 as The Idaho Club Golf Course. The redesign was done by Jack Nicklaus.
This course was cut from the woods of the Pack River Delta. Several holes are tree lined, and the fairways are bordered by a defined cut of rough. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes as a result of the Lower Pack River winding its way among the fairways. Wildlife is abundant on this course.
The Jack Nicklaus designed Idaho Club golf course plays to 7,089 yards from the championship tees. The course par is 71.
The beautiful clubhouse/lodge was a magnificent building built entirely of enormous Cedar logs built at a cost of $6.2 million dollars a number of years ago when the facility was still Known as Hidden Lakes. The wide, spacious deck of the Lodge were a favorite place to gather with friends whether after a game of golf or to just enjoy the magnificent view it offered of the Pack River Delta area. Unfortunately, this structure was lost to fire in December 2008.

Interesting course. Some good some bad. Tree lined course in the Idaho Mountains. pick the right tee box, they have some killer carries. Green good, and fairways. Worth a play at least once. My rating a B+
